Inspired by a true Thai ritual of lying in coffins to get rid of bad
luck and prolong life, THE COFFIN is a supernatural thriller about a
young man and a young woman who decide to go through the ritual in
Thailand.
Chris, a claustrophobic architect does it in the hope of
saving his fiance whos dying of terminal cancer. Sue, a nutritionist
visiting Thailand from Hong Kong does it to save her own life after
being diagnosed with a lethal brain tumor - one week before her
wedding.
After the ritual, Chris and Sue experience what appear to be
miracles in their respective lives. But soon, they find themselves
confronted by a series of bizarre and terrifying incidents. With the
help of a professor specializing in paranormal cases associated with
the ritual, they set out to exorcise the ghosts that haunt them, and
attempt to reverse the wheel of karma.
Thrilling, mysterious and ultimately moving, THE COFFIN is a
spine-chilling horror about the beauty of life and death, and coming to
face to face with living and dying. It was shot in six provinces across
Thailand on actual locations including a 100-year-old temple, real

While watching the movie it is really quite sad to see people wanting to solve their problems by going this far. I wonder sometimes why human want to use their own effort to such an extend. For me death is not scary but my fear is of the Lord. During my Halloween date with my boyfriend at the Night Safari, I saw this white thing flew across the trees, I knew what it was. My heart did not jump, not because I am not afraid of it. But my heart is calm like Jesus peace, I knew immediately it's something weird but I did not place my fear on that. Truth cannot stand beside the evil, the evil will flee. Last night after the movie, my love and I slightly discussed about the film. He told me the movie is correct in an extend. Sin cannot be erased, whatever sin you made it will get back to you. Or if you are cheating death like lying in the coffin, your sin will be passed on to someone closest to you.
Jesus name means Savior, the reason why the world need a savior because nobody is perfect, everyone has sin. Jesus is the Son of God, God cannot lie and moreover God himself took all your sins on the cross. Only through the holy blood your sins are truly forgiven. For those who have eyes to read and hears to hear, this is good news! It really make so much sense to me because Pastor Prince just preached about the more you know you are forgiven, you will love more. Read

A very nice review and after movie thought. I can understand the peace you felt when you saw that white thing. For me, since knowing more and more about Jesus, I felt that i have lesser and lesser fears and in situations where i should be worried or fearful, i am not! I'm glad I met you in this church babe! God definitely brought us all together!

By reading you blog I can see that you really love Jesus( that's great) and that you care for the people who don't know him.
I understand and also I feel bad for those who don't want to accept or want to have anything to do with God.
At these sort of moments the best we can do is give it over to the Lord in our prayers and trust Him that he will reach to them in his wonderfull ways.
